Anticipated Links Experience:
A holiday course with class and history. The course’s opening stretch of holes follows the shore but then the lay-out swings 90 degrees back towards the start. We recommend playing in the spring when the gorse blooms and Jersey is perhaps at its finest. A perfect, romantic combination – La Moye and your better half.

Worthy of Note:
Harry Vardon and Ted Ray both grew up next to Royal Jersey, or the Grouville Links as the course is sometimes known.

History:
The course was established in 1878 and was granted its royal status the year after. The lay-out remained largely unchanged until WWII when the Germans occupied Jersey and the course became a minefield. A revamp of the course has been made in later years by the firm Thomson, Perret & Lobb, which was established by the five-times British Open winner Peter Thomson.
